Basically everyone I know and probably a really large number of people I don't know are in a bad place right now. I don't know what it is that's going around, but everywhere I turn, life is just shitting on people, myself included (although to be fair, most of my problems are of my own making).

My love for Aliens is well documented- perhaps not in this el-jay, but in real life a lot of people know it's a movie I love. The story is tight, everyone makes realistic descisions, there is not one, but two badass ladies with gigantic guns, and even though it was made in the 80's the effects hold up like crazy.

Yesterday: Spent half the day asleep, a quarter panicking, and a quarter having a nice time with friends. Went home to do schoolwork, finished it, and decided to watch Children of Men. Caitlynne came home at 2 am and informed me that it was 2 am.
