Anywhere I have to go this weekend, I can do walking.

There is a dusting on the cars.

I shall see what it is like in the morning before checking the website for school closures.

I started out to drive to school, but when the traffic ground to a halt, I phoned the school (Yes I do sometimes have my mobile on me) and discovered it was closed. Luckily I was just coming up to a roundabout so I could turn around.

Just been to the school to inspect the site; 8 inches of snow is quite a fright! Buses from the villages will not run And safety on paths and steps is not fun! Work available from the VLE: Particularly A Level and GCSE. The school will open for exams next week - Let us hope the weather is mild and meek!

This time it almost sounds like a limerick.

I've consulted with the puppy from school; He loves the snow but is no fool! Temperature dropping: ice on the way, Alfie, the lab says, 'Open? No way!'

Some schools are already up on the website as being closed tomorrow. I'm not surprised.

The poet is back. This morning, the poem from last night had been replaced, but there's one for tomorrow.
