I went into school today. The roads weren't too bad, just a bit of slipping on the stretch between the village and the bypass. At the end of the day, the headmaster told us to clear the site as soon as possible and that there was a landrover ready to pull us if needed to get out of the carpark.
Me need assistance!?
I put my car in first gear, lifted the clutch (didn't touch the accelerator) and slowly pulled away whilst someone else was busy with a shovel.
Checking the future schools closure list, the poem so far for Monday is,
"Those in the Sixth Form with exams, Must put on hold their snowball plans, No matter what the forecasts say, Please be in prompt on Monday!"
