Plane crash in Brazil. Couldn't stop on a slippery, wet runway in heavy rain. Crashed into a building at the end, which may or may not have been a gas station. Large fireball. I won't comment, but if you know me, you know I'm terrified over it ( Read more... )

I wish it would rain. The weather is feeling very unnatural to me. And I'm worried we'll pay for it later. I'm also really sick of scraping ice off my car windows every morning. I can't believe this plane crashed almost five days ago, and they still don't know where it is. Scares the crap out of me. (And three people from Oregon were on it.)

I'm in Colorado now. Fortunately my flight was at 7am, two hours before new security measures were put in place, so I was blissfully unaware that it is possible to blow up a plane using fake toothpaste or baby powder and an ipod battery. God, the plane crash in Greece sounds so awful. I'll add the worry of pilots passing out from lack of O2 and everyone freezing to death to my flying fears! ;)

So there was that one, the one off the coast of Italy, and the one in Toronto. I maintain my belief that these happen in 3s. Unless another one happens soon.
