Tonight on NPR they are playing a radio show that is entirely songs about Jennifer, Jenny or Jen. I'm totally going to acquire this podcast.

Matt won free tickets to a Reverend Horton Heat show last night. They put on a good show, and it was a lot of fun. I removed my first corneal foreign body today. It's kind of a landmark moment for a new OD. Mine was a little bit of vegetative material, like maybe a little piece of leaf. I went to see Once today. What a great movie for this summer when I've been so into acoustic guitar and wanting to fall in love with a sweet someone who can sing a romantic song. However my favorite scene is actually a song sung by the female lead - so moving. Listen to "If You Want Me" here.

Plane crash in Brazil. Couldn't stop on a slippery, wet runway in heavy rain. Crashed into a building at the end, which may or may not have been a gas station. Large fireball. I won't comment, but if you know me, you know I'm terrified over it ( Read more... )

Laying in bed looking out my window, I just watched 8 people jump out of an airplane and parachute to the ground, red smoke trailing behind them. There's a big parade and festival today in Portland, so I'm sure it was for that, and they landed somewhere in the parade route or something. I'm glad I looked out the window when I did.
