Welcome to the rec list of epic proportions! Well, for NewS, anyway. This list is by no means exhaustive (though let me tell you, it feels that way); there are plenty of fics not on it that I would still recommend, I just… forgot them, or already had too many by that author, or they are not to my taste but may be to yours. I also tend to be a fairly selective reader in some ways, so I may just not have read something based on the summary and pairing and, so, missed something amazing. It happens. Also… I have sometimes warned for AUs but not probably often enough. I love AU so it just doesn't occur to me. And lastly, my summary skills are lame so sometimes there's summary, or someone else's, or just vague reasons why I think it's awesome. You'll just have to be surprised. :D

PLEASE READ ALL WARNINGS ON LINKED FICS. I have warned where I remembered to, but I have made sure not to link to cutids (unless necessary and I double-checked the content and made sure to warn if needed) so that everyone can read the summary and warnings themselves. Also, 'dark' means … well, I don't know exactly how to sum it up… it encompasses dark subjects such as death, torture, upsetting things that might trigger unpleasant memories for some people, so be especially careful in reading warnings for those, please.

• among the hidden things - by nanyakanya: AU. Zoe is killer at writing mind-bending fic and this is no exception. Dreamwalking, worldbending, amazing. R**
• And You Will See Such Pretty Things - by nanyakanya: Koyama-centric, NewS, slight KoyaShige and one of the best mindfucks ever. I gasped and covered my mouth and cried like a little girl. Dark. R

It's fun and funny and then dark and eerie and unnerving, heartwrenching and one of the most beautiful things I've read. Long. NC-17
