and found myself a pair of outdoor quad skate wheels. i do believe i might just go to the practice tomorrow. i'd never changed the wheels (never mind bearings) on my old skates, so this was an experience. mind you, it wasn't difficult, but i was fairly pleased that i managed to get it all done with only two trips to the skate shop. :P ( Read more... )

right near our steps. if i sit down near where the dogs slobber on our side windows near the front door i can nearly look him in the eye. it's nice to see them back this spring - i was afraid they'd been blown away. and now the dogs are barking at it - i'm sure that'll make it want to stick around ( Read more... )

i could fall asleep right here. it doesn't help that my office is like the arctic tundra in terms of temperature (at least today, tomorrow it may be sub-sahara), so i've got my space heater on like FULL BLAST YOUR FACE OFF temp. it's gently lulling me off to sleep. not good ( Read more... )

i hadn't realized how swollen it looked until i looked at the picture again. anyways, i took a new picture.

it's healing nicely, and i figured out that the only reason it looked wopperjawed was because of the way i was standing - if i relax, it looks great :) i love it, even though it's now starting to itch :P ( Read more... )
