Our medical insurance company likes to send a home healthcare nurse for a checkup once a year. We've tried to put it off and avoid it altogether but they NEVER give up. So now I just agree right away when they call to schedule. She's coming today. Blaa.

I did get my car fixed yesterday so FREEDOM! In the afternoon the weather is supposed to clear and the nurse will be gone by then. I'm planning to get out to Two Mile with Rainy. It's been so long since I've been there.
Yesterday to pass the time while my car was in the shop Candy and I went shopping at Walmart. I got a new set of sheets and she got some groceries. Then we came back to her house and walked on Oak Hill. I have not been in the woods of Oak Hill for such a long time. It has changed a lot since it was sold to the new timber company in 2018. They cut timber in some places and those areas are overgrown with new growth. The new people allow 4 wheelers to drive all over and let people cut firewood there. There are totally new paths from what used to be there. We walked on a path that is parallel to the road in a spot I had never been before. It was like going through an archaeological dig with old dishes and bottles, rusty tricycles, junk. I'm looking forward to exploring more.
I watched the Amazon show "Upload" and enjoyed it. It's a fun show set in the future where people (instead of fully dying) have their personalities uploaded to a virtual world. Though their bodies are dead they can still interact with the living. BUT it didn't have an ending. It was canceled after 2 seasons before they brought it to a satisfying conclusion. I hate that. I think I am going to check before I even start anything else in the future to avoid that.
