Had an interesting dream last night. It was one of those kinds of dreams where it seemed like I was watching a movie but I was in the movie. A poor woman with many children was homeless and searching for a home. They were traveling through the woods and came across an old decrepit building that used to be a factory. It was locked up but had some openings and one of the little skinny kids slipped through to get inside and opened the door. They cleaned it all up inside and fixed it up to be a really nice, if odd, place to live. The local newspaper came out to do a story on them. The police chief was there too and congratulating them for improving things. When I woke up I was feeling this great feeling of doing something good with something that no one wanted. "Making something out of nothing".

I did clean the house thoroughly on Friday. That's kind of the feeling of making something out of nothing - all you have to do is remove the dirt and clutter, do a little organizing and you have something really good. :-) I've been basking in the luxury of a clean house all weekend.

This morning I take the car to have it fixed. Candy is going to pick me up while it's there and we're going to hike, or shop or have coffee or do something to pass the time while they're working on it. Looks like a beautiful day so I hope it's hike.



The window in my room a little later in the morning than the last time I took a photo of it. The sun has moved to a new spot.
