Woke up this morning to -20 degF with a wind chill of -47. Methinks I'm not leaving the house today.

New Year's Eve is almost upon us.  I think most people would say this year pretty much sucked, and they'd be right.  Oh, it had it's ups, but it certainly had it's downs as well.  I'll personally be glad to have it behind me.  Fortunately, we'll be ringing in the new year with good friends, good food, and copious amounts of alcohol.  And Guitar ( Read more... )

I don't know what's different about this year,  but we already have 10 different holiday parties to attend; some personal and some professional.  All but two of them are in the next 12 days.  Normally we have 2-3 in total.  Crazy busy.  Fortunately I know of only 2 for which we have to bring anything (cookies to one, and a dish to the other ( Read more... )
