I think this is the longest I've gone without posting in this journal since I started it. Where does the time go?

In summary, life has just kind of been A Lot lately -- no one thing in specific, but a lot of smaller things piling on top of each other, to wit:

Things done recently-ish:

1. I gave blood on Tuesday. This was my first time donating from my right elbow vein instead of my left, but I have been advised that since I have two good veins, I should alternate to keep the left one from getting too scarred up.

1. Got up an hour early in order to revise my little presentation for church. Abruptly realized I didn't know if my printer was currently in working order. Tested printer; the mechanics are fine and it can talk to my computer, but apparently all the ink has dried up/solidified since the last time I tried to print anything. Oops ( Read more... )

1. Bought a ticket to a chamber music concert this Sunday afternoon, because dammit, I deserve nice things!

2. Started reading chapter 2 of A Fistful of Shells.

The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail's annual Wine & Herb Fest event, in which each participating winery offers a small food plus a paired wine to ticket-holders, and then you get to taste up to three additional wines for no extra fee.
