some news channel or another (or the daily show) has been on in my house since like 7am. omg political overload. but my parents are usually more informed than 99% of the rest of the voting population. even on some dudes running for village board. my dad actually can rattle off every bill most senators have ever proposed/voted for/voted against. and my mom can rattle off every banking regulation that's been passed or eliminated going back to like the 1920s. it's kind of awe-inspiring.
anyway, i saw my personal trainer for the first time in like six months. it's a new guy and he pushed me so hard. which is a good thing. but now i can't lift my arms. like seriously, i had a glass of pop and couldn't lift it to my mouth. and i have another session with him on tuesday.
also went to the last farmer's market where we got mums and pumpkins. i love pumpkins. we put out about 30 of them over the course of the fall, depending on how many get stolen by squirrels. they may be cute, but they're thieves! and i'm pathetic because i will actually chase after them demanding that they drop my pumpkin. some free trade lady was there too and i got this banana leaf box with hand-carved wooden animal inside of it from kenya. so beautiful!
so i am kind of happy that i found my electric guitar and amp. i haven't played it or my acoustic in about 4 years, i want to say. something like that. amazingly, i still know the basics!
don't know what to do with myself tonight since my parents are going to the sox game. lately i feel lame because i have no life outside of work.
ps-dear russian people who have added me in the past 3 months. umm, why? i can barely read russian so adding your journal back is kind of pointless to me. plus it seems like i haven't had anything in common with any of you. so what gives?
