this icon has never been so apt for a monday (even though it's wednesday).
my monday started out after a night of no sleep due to pulled muscles in both arms. then we had: running to catch the train in high-heels because the clock in my car was off, spilling an entire bottle of water in my lap, one of my employees being a general pain in the ass, not getting anything done because the company decided to eliminate an entire work pack, watching cnn in the lobby while waiting for the rain to die down and seeing that the (admittedly not the best) bailout got voted down, catching the l only for it to get stuck in the loop, having to walk 10 city blocks to the train (in the rain, in high heels, with a heavy briefcase) and then getting stuck in traffic back home.
of course the sox getting into the playoffs was worth all of that, you know.
i just realized last friday that i have like a billion vacation days left so i have taken off every friday for the whole month of october. boo ya. and you know why october rocks? because my very best vicinity is coming to visit. she's all mine and you can't have her!
