Ridiculous numbers of friends seem to have decided to have babies at age 28 (which they act on if married/partnered and lament otherwise). It makes practical sense in some cases, but there's something I'm missing. Why 28? Is it just get-it-in-before-30? People seem to have the idea that 28 is the perfect age. ??? I put up pictures from Tim's art reception and our trip to the Berkeley Botanical Gardens with my mom. We had TONS of fun. Too much so, perhaps: we were too tired on Sunday to enjoy properly our visit to Half Moon Bay.

I just bought a laptop! Gulp. Hope it's a good one.

No brain at all today. Very sad. Especially as I have loads of work to do. Ugh.
But anyway, we're buying a new(er) car! No more hordes of assorted rodents!
We tested out a WRX last night. Felt more like a plane than a car, kept wanting to take off already. It was exhausting. So, Prelude again it is. Yay!
