ekite, you were right, the Dell outlet thing is da bomb. An almost-new, refurbished computer for several hundred dollars less than it should have been... and I got to dodge Vista.

My other great Accomplishment for the day, since I can't seem to get my SAS program to work: Tim and I get to do a UK trip this summer entirely on frequent flyer miles. The website claimed I could only get the "standard" tickets that cost twice as many miles, but the phone rep found at least one flight every day for "saver" tickets. :-P to United's website, if they want to give their reps more power I'll happily just keep making them pay for live humans.
