This little frog was kind enough to position himself between the cactus pot he lives in and the face pot that is right beside it just long enough for me to get a picture of the “frog kiss!”

I’m feeling a tad bit better today in some ways and worse in others. My sinuses are draining like mad and so my throat is tickling and I’m coughing a lot more. I felt terrible when I got up this morning, and so it was another day of mostly resting, but I never took a nap. I probably exceeded my sleep limit yesterday and last night ( Read more... )

The little froggie, with the new name of Graves, was caught this morning sneaking in, like a guilty teenager. At least that’s what he reminded me of when I saw him early morning on my first walk in the atrium. ( here )

Yesterday I was puttering around in the Atrium Secret Garden cleaning up dead leaves and debris from around some of the plants. I have an old hollowed out railroad tie out there that we placed vertical in the ground and planted some succulents and bromiliads in the openings ( Read more... )

I have been watering this little flat of seedlings for my neighbor while he has been gone. Yesterday, a good little frog (or maybe it's a toad) took up residence during the day in one of the little squares. He was gone by nightfall.

Oh well, I guess there will be one less radish to plant!

Pete was in the garage last night about 8:30 and he called me out to see this teeny, tiny frog sitting on top of the refrigerator. I honestly don’t know how he spots things like this. I had to stand on tip-toes just to catch a glimpse. I held my camera over my head to get this shot.

I recently came across an odd looking little frog. I keep a shallow dish filled with water in the atrium garden in case any little critters get thirsty, and there he was perched on the edge of the dish one morning. I guess the white knobs on his legs is what was strange to me. Anyone know what they are or what kind of frog this is? He's tiny-- ( Read more... )
