Yesterday Debra stopped by to give me a bunch of Ginger Tea, (my favorite-I love the heat and bity-ness from the ginger) she got from the Wong Kai Imports store. It is just the coolest store ever! The tea is already sweetened with a little honey and only 20 calories for a big cup ( Read more... )

First of all.......Hallelujah! My sense of taste and smell have finally returned! Last night I was able to taste dinner somewhat, but this morning when I woke up, everything was gone again, but within an hour or so of being up and coffee and cereal, it started coming back and seems like it is here to stay ( Read more... )

I am feeling better today and this is the last day of my antibiotics. I've still got some congestion, but not too much. One thing that still concerns me is I have not regained my taste or smell. Every once in a while I'll get a scant little taste, but it only lasts about 5-10 seconds and then it is gone and nothing. And not having the sense of ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, I am still sick (in case anyone is wondering why I'm not posting or where I am). The doctor said I had severe bronchitis and sinusitis and prescribed an antibiotic, something to dry me up, and also an inhaler to ease my breathing. The improvement is very slow it seems. I wonder if sinusitis is hereditary…my dad suffered with it ( Read more... )

A quick post to let you know I’m still alive, but not kicking very much. When my friend visited last weekend I could feel what I thought was a cold/sinus infection coming on. By Monday morning it was much worse and eventually the flu became a part of it all, too. (I sure hope I didn't infect her with this horrible thing.) It continued getting ( Read more... )

I guess I not as recovered from the sinus as I thought I was. I stopped taking the meds and my head filled up as soon as the last dose wore off, so I’m back to taking them again. They are a decongestant, and they sure do work in drying this thing up, but I need to take them a bit longer I suppose. Anyway, I am feeling better than I did several ( Read more... )
