I love my camera and wish I could take it with me everywhere I go, every single day of the week. But I can't. So on the days when I can bring the camera along, I take the opportunity to take as many photos as I could. I suck at this. It's been a month since I came back from Manila and I haven't yet posted photos. If anyone is interested, here are highlights of our trip.

It's finally arrived, our last day in Hong Kong. But it's not over until we see some pandas! So off to Ocean Park we went. but not before checking out two of the rooms that we had and piling up all of our luggage in the one room. I was lucky to get late check-out facilities so we didn't have to come rushing back later.

Next stop was the Aberdeen Fishing Village, site of the famous Jumbo floating restaurant. But before that we passed by a jewellery factory where they showed us around the workshops and we got discount coupons to be used in the showroom.

A lot of people told me that an organised day tour is not the best way to see Hong Kong. But what else could we do? We were working against the clock and we were all practically newbies in HK. It wasn't so bad though, except that it was raining heavily when our tour bus arrived ( Read more... )

The kids almost didn't want to leave Disneyland but there was no ifs and buts about it. So we took the red taxi from Lantau Island to Kowloon Island and headed to another hotel. Funny story there. We took 3 taxis again and told the 3 drivers that we needed them to take us to Regal Oriental on Sa Po Road. Apparently you had to say Kowloon City ( Read more... )

We waited for the 5.30pm show time of High School Musical in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle. There was quite a big crowd and we were lucky to be front and centre for the show.
