This last weekend I headed up to Indianapolis to once again attend the Naptown Roller Girls event that featured members of the Rebel Legion and 501st. This year the event was called Cupid Strikes Back. They had a “kissing booth” setup as a fundraiser for one of the charities that the Naptown Roller Girls support.

Well this weekend was it. The weekend that I participated in two Christmas parades with the 501st Southern Outpost. I was Darth Sidious, aka the Emperor. I am excited for the first time in a while. Last weekend was cool with the Toys for Tots event in Clarksville, but I was bummed that the parade in Shelbyville was cancelled. This weekend, I will be in a parade on both Saturday and Sunday, not as Plo Koon, but as the emperor. It was decided for me that I would be the emperor last Saturday night. I ( Read more... )

Well after all of the time and money, I finished my costume. There are things that I already want to approve on it, but they can wait for a while. I am pleased with how it turned out, and I got some great comments from some of the other Star Wars costumers which was cool.
