Job~
Monday, I start working for the Texas State Library as a consultant on their systems. Apparently, all of them. Not entirely sure what I'm walking into, but the pay will keep me out of the poor house while I wait on some of these other offers to firm up.
Other current "In process" things:
Neubus - photocopying company that has government contracts to turn paper documents into electronic ones
Austin Energy - power company, owned by the City of Austin, reminds me a lot of the cable company I used to work for.
UT - I'd be working in their PTS area, supporting them. Parking/Transportation. I might get to use a golf cart to get to some of the areas, and working for UT in Austin would have a seperate set of huge, nice perks. Along with the benefits package.
