So, yesterday at 2pm...
My CEO stood in front of the entire company (all .. 20ish of us) and announced that we would be closing our doors in the next 2 weeks, and sent us home.
This after having been breaking my back to try to work on scaling models as we were rapidly trying to get a proposal together for Coca-Cola Enterprises, and also for trying to get a partnership going with another company. Since the CCE deal could take .. years, the chairman of the board (who was providing primary funding) pulled the plug on it. It caught a LOT of us by surprise.
