Okay. We took the plates off of karabean's silver 2000 Taurus and swapped Singularity on to the insurance in its place. I went to my step-grandmother's funeral and managed to not get into a fight with my grandfather the Antichristian. Okay, so I got Singularity running again on Sunday. To bring him back on the road, we're looking at:

$551 Insurance (Up front)
$50 Registry Fee
$41 Registration Fee
$29 Inspection Fee

$671 Total

And that assumes that there are no inspection-breaking problems.

For those who don't already know, karabean's Taurus blew a head gasket. The car is in Leverett with ichisan's and larryboy's mechanic, George. George figures that the car will cost $2000 or more to repair. Note that the trade-in value of the car is about $1200.

Anyway, this blows.
