I have always been skeptical when people proclaim that the traditional dead-tree format book (or magazine) is doomed and will soon disappear. I wonder if they realize what issues remain before such a changeover can actually take place.

Come one, come all to the Ottawa Spring House-filk, located near Bayshore Mall and just off Carling Avenue in the West End of the City. The house-filk will be on this coming Saturday, May 23, starting at 2 pm in the afternoon and with the aim of continuing till well into the evening.

The Ottawa Filksing is on. It will happen Sunday 14 September 2008 at 2 pm (or 14:00 if you use Unix/military/bus-schedule time). It will probably last till around 6 pm (18:00), and we then may pick a restaurant where everyone can enjoy a post-musical dinner.
