I have always been skeptical when people proclaim that the traditional dead-tree format book (or magazine) is doomed and will soon disappear. I wonder if they realize what issues remain before such a changeover can actually take place.

Ever since the hijacking of login sessions over WiFi was made really easy last year, I have been wary of using WiFi in any setting that requires a login (including LiveJournal and Facebook). Thanks to ms_danson (as she noted in this post), I have found out that a new add-in for Firefox called “Firesheep” allows the user to sniff packets from a WiFi link and grab a copy of the “Session ID” that is used to keep you logged in after you enter your userID and password.
