Things were going well. Brian came home in the afternoon yesterday and we spent a lot of time playing his Galen's new train game. I had a load in the wash and one in the dishwasher that I couldn't quite get started. I made 2quiches for Brian and put them in the oven and served the boys dinner. We went back to the game.

My work was canceled which was good because given the traffic snarl last night when the morons that be decided to dump 3x reg. rush hour traffic onto the roads IN FRONT of the plows... 21F is warmer than 19 but the wind has picked up. The benefit of the garage being turned into our extra fridge was negated tonight when bflan managed to knock over my 2 Quart glass jar of sourghdough starter. Dear Diary, Today on Day 90 it is raining again, just like Day 89, 88, etc.... As Courdory might say, "I guess I always wanted to live in a rainforest."

The weather has gone from grey and drizzly to thunder/lightening downpour. Not helping. There is only so many - its good for the plants days in a row before I get frustrated with a sopping wet yard, garden, dog, house, etc....
