In the past I've had issues with car shops not doing what they are paid to do. The best one of course being the time we went to pick up the car and it had a flat tire and the shop was all, "Not our fault". The Upsherin was very nice. Virgil came bounding inside from playing in the yard announcing, "The Rabbi's here!" It was so nice to see/hear his excitement. He sat very still while we snipped some hair. No ears got clipped, no bleeding. On the exciting plus side after crappy sleep for Virgil since his gluten exposure on Mon today he came home from the allergist and slept for 9 hours. Yay.

Forgot to mention in the last post I had Perry practicing the Shema this morning ala his teacher's you tube video. I don't cover my eye but Galen and Perry do and at services it's the default for our congregation.
As soon as it started Virgil put his hands over his eyes! Learning through observation, AWESOME!

Friday started with Perry refusing to get on the bus and freaking out, Brian chasing him and then when Brian realized it would just be better for Perry to stay home Perry darted onto the bus and wouldn't get off.

Taking Virgil to be screened for apraxia. I think it's just normal for my kids to talk late. Perry brought home a paper this week where on a multiple choice test he had picked the synonym for speaking as silence. I'm calling it a Freudian slip.
