There's been a lot of confusion tension lately.
The money to pay MITRE got put in the appropriate accounts before the shutdown.

A female ex-soldier runs for political office and she's not a "real hero". Right because being a woman negates whatever she was doing when she lost both legs in Afghanistan. Brian works for company A but they contract him out to agency B.
Friday morning Brian's boss at B came in and told Brian how much they loved the work Brian does but that due to a Congressional Mandate they had to cut support staff and that they had no choice and that Brian would be on 1/4 time at the site for the rest of the year.
