On Friday, I left for the Sterling Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY with my mom and John. Two days ago, The Empire Diner served its last meal at midnight. The iconic Chelsea, New York eatery lost its lease and was forced to shut down, but they're looking for a new location. It was a favorite restaurant of celebrities like Madonna and Steven Spielberg, and one of the places I wanted to visit when I went to New York City. *sigh*
