Well, I've got some bad news. I brought my guinea pigs back to the vet today because Calloway has a bump on his jaw that has grown since bringing him home, and both he and Lazarus have been sneezing. The sneezing is most likely due to the dustiness of their bedding, but I will be testing whether that's true when I switch them over to their new ( Read more... )

Someone relinquished an 8-month-old guinea pig to us at work about two weeks ago. After much persuading of the boyfriend, I managed to convince him to let me bring her home. PETCO adoptions for relinquished animals are basically a donation to the PETCO Foundation, which helps local animal shelters. This is why we ask all former owners relinquishing ( Read more... )
