I need some advice. After my bike ride yesterday, I could NOT stop eating. I remember now that the same thing used to happen back in my running days. I understand that my body needs more calories not only to fuel my exercise, but to recover afterwards. I usually eat more carbs before exercise and protein afterwards. 1. The buzz around these parts is that the cost of fuel, and therefore the cost of long-distance travel will continue to go up. Even though we aren't taking a family vacation until next spring, Drama King and I decided it might save money to book our flights now. So it's official! My back is feeling better. Not *good* but I'm upgrading my status from "Incapacitating Pain" to "Extremely Annoying Discomfort". This morning our buyers' home inspector came out to go over our house with a fine-tooth comb. He was very pleasant and respectful of our space. We'll get the final verdict when the buyers' agent submits paperwork later today, but it seems that all went well. Barring any surprises our house will be good and firmly sold by the end of the day*.
