Aside from the pink eye, Gabriel's stats from today's checkup are:

22 pounds, 13 ounces - 50th percentile
32 1/4 inches long - 95th percentile!

Looks like he inherited the same male Mullen metabolism that his uncle geckoboy has: tall and skinny. My uncle has that, and so does one of my cousins. At the rate he's going, Gabriel will be taller than both me ( Read more... )

Now that Gabriel can crawl - like, crawl crawl - his favorite place to do so is on top of our bed. To the edge of the bed. Over the pillows we usually set up to keep him from tumbling off the bed head-first. Onto the hardwood floors ( Read more... )

In trying to get Gabriel to "discover" his hands, I gave him this teething/rattle/tactile toy someone gave him. I opened his hand and pressed it into his palm and he wrapped his tiny fingers around it - and immediately proceeded to smack himself in the face with it ( Read more... )
