So, I've got a huge spider bite on the inside of my thigh. Just watch it turn necrotic as I prepare to go on my joyous beach vacation.

Happy Hour and some early drinking tomorrow, Happy Hour People? I don't want to be out too late tomorrow night since I still have a ton of things to get done on Saturday, but I could use a good drink or two.

Last night was mostly devoted to reading. I'm working on Against the Day, which is slow going. It's too big of a book to carry around with me and, being Pynchon, it's hard to remember what's going on when you pick it back up. This Candy Corn Jones Soda...is weird.

I was expecting it wuold be, but...I can't quite palce what's wrong about it (other than the fact that it's florescent yellow).

I think maybe it tastes more like marshmallow peeps than candy corn. I'm pretty glad that it only comes in the wee 8oz cans.
