So, I was away at the cabin for the weekend, but I'm not going to talk about that right now. Right now I am going to tell you what happened on the way home.

I was driving along on US40W barreling down a hill and I see a log sitting in the middle of the opposing lane of traffic.

Then the log started running at the car.

( Needless to say, it was not a log. )

I hadn't checked on Ugly Overload in a while, so I was scrolling back through and gave myself the serious willies.

I thought of cajun when I flipped through this month's National Geographic because there is a huge pictorial about slugs! Really pretty slugs, though, not the regular slugs who I keep accidentally crushing.

this morning I saw a little girl walking (to school?) with her mom. Said little girl was wearing a hugely poofy princess dress, tiara, and leopard print coat. She was awesome. So, I've got a huge spider bite on the inside of my thigh. Just watch it turn necrotic as I prepare to go on my joyous beach vacation.

Happy Hour and some early drinking tomorrow, Happy Hour People? I don't want to be out too late tomorrow night since I still have a ton of things to get done on Saturday, but I could use a good drink or two.
