PROGNOSIS:  My tear duct is infected in my left eye. It doesn't hurt too much. The doctor gave me a perscription for eyedrops. I'm supposed to put two drops into my eye every four hours. He said the eyedrops should help clear up the infection in as little as 48 ( Read more... )

I can no longer escape my bridesmaid duties. The bridal shower is tomorrow  and I still don't have a gift.   *facepalm*  I've just been so busy with work that I haven't had time to think of anything else. I must be one of the worst bridesmaids in history.

IT IS FILM FESTIVAL WEEK.

That means I probably will not have time to post any interesting matter on my own livejournal. I will try and at least skim through my flist this week to try and not fall too far behind.

I will hopefully have some stories to tell be the end of this week. Things are bound to go awry at one point or another. *sigh*

There is nothing more thrilling than going online to look at my bank account and seeing more money than I thought was there.

There is also nothing more depressing than realizing that, while it's fantastic I recieved so much money as part of my Federal Tax Return, I will not be able to use that money for anything fun. My student loan payments, rent ( Read more... )

Update time! Life has been dragging me down for the past few weeks, but I seem to be starting a happier path.

 So, there is a big film festival that happens at the university in April. Everyone is in an uproar trying to get this thing planned and running smoothly. It's my job to take in all the submissions, log them in to a system (that I created) and keep an ongoing tally of how many submissions we have in the office.
