The battery on my phone was dying, so went down to the Verizon store to buy a replacement. Turns out that they don't make my phone anymore and, therefore, do not make the batteries. I got a new hard drive for my laptop and tried to install Windows Media Center XP 2005. There is something wrong with it. Among other things, if I double click on the IE icon, it asks what program I want to open it with. Couldn't actually find the executable. All in all seems like I am missing stuff ( Read more... )

This week is the Solar Decathlon on the National Mall. We went to this two years ago (it is a biannual event) and found it interesting. We are planning on taking half a day off on Friday to revisit it (Saturday being already pretty full). Do not point iTunes at mp3s that do not have any of the track information filled in. Tried that. iTunes will set them up, but has no way to display them. No really good way to fix it afterward.

And, now, to join evil_1_2 in complaining about iTunes. I did find the file where it stores information about all the tracks. It is conveniently located up ( Read more... )
