Supposedly, if you see one mouse, there are 20 more that you don't see. If we have killed 10 mice, does this mean:

• We have gotten rid of about half the total population.


• There are 200 mice that we don't see.


• There are 20 mice still out there. As soon as they generate a 21st, they'll send one out.

We have been having trouble with mice. Not too surprising, I guess, considering the large amount of grassland surrounding our house.

I still don't have the hang of speed photography and get a lot of blurry shots (as you can see in numerous other shots in the bird gallery), so I was really happy with this shot of a mocking bird, particularly since I was using the telephoto.
