So I went to see the hearing officer in Brooklyn Center about my speeding ticket today. They gave me the option of suspending prosecution for a year. If I'm not convicted of a moving violation in the next year the charge will never appear on my record. I figure that this is a pretty safe bet. The only thing on my record happened back in 1993.
