So my first-grade daughter complains that I play the guitar too much. Actually, she says that I play the guitar ALL THE TIME but that's just the way her brain works. So I spent yesterday afternoon helping set up for the Wicked Fun Halloween party. It was amazing working with all these people doing what they do to make an even like this happen. I'm off to hopefully pick up the last pieces for my costume for tonight's party. I'm going as Malcolm McDowell's character from A Clockwork Orange. I've wanted to do this costume for years. I made the codpiece myself (with a little help from a friend) and I'm kind of proud of it. It's not perfect but it looks pretty good.

I have been so happy today. I don't know if it's because summer is over and the kids are finally back in school. That could be part of it. I had a wonderful breakfast this morning with past love of mine who I feel very fortunate to be reconnecting with. I know that has something to do with it.
