An update on this entry, about the protractor and aliens with atomic bombs. I bought myself a little kit with a protractor in it just because I was sad when I realized I didn't think I had one anymore.

The kit's purple, it makes me smile, and I will likely start doing silly things with it in the name of art creation when I get some inspiration.

So, I'm such a dork that when I feel an earthquake, my first reaction is, "is everything holding up okay?" then if the answer is yes, my section reaction is "Woot! Earthquake! Rock!" So they're at Star Trek: The Experience right now, and these two strips amused the hell out of me: He's So... Human and Gorn Injuries. Yeah, so awesome. Had to share the love.

I must be a child at heart. I still absolutely love songs from my childhood, as well as the books I grew up on. I need Raffi in my music collection, and I haven't gotten any yet. Last.fm has a whole bunch of his stuff up, but none of it available for free download *pout*. At least I know where to find it now, since youtube was sparse on his stuff.

Super Dork Time. I need a lock for my new job, so I can keep a locker in the backroom for my stuff while on and off duty. As much as I hate the pink, I think it would be awesome to have a Hello Kitty laptop. While I think it would be better to get one of the less marketed non-pink themed versions of Hello Kitty, I think the dork factor of having a Hello Kitty laptop would just be too awesome to pass up.
