The city of Tetha woke up to an unearthly silence. Her soldiers were stiff, tense, and maybe even nervous. Though Dukemon, SaberLeomon, and TyrantKabuterimon had attempted to muster their attacking force in secret, a plan that big did not stay easily hidden. Through whispers, worried calls to loved ones, and other well-meaning or unpleasant channels, most of Tetha was aware that Ravemon's actions had led an angry legion right to their doorstep. The streets remained empty, save for the heavy footfalls of patrols on the lookout for anything suspicious. None of Tetha's citizens were going to set foot on her streets for fear of their own lives.
The morning went by quietly, with barely a single soul to be seen in the city's streets. One might almost have thought that nothing were going to happen. The peace wouldn't last. Just a few minutes before noon, the skies around Tetha darkened. From the jungles of Urd, wave after wave of flying Digimon took to the skies, streaking towards the island in the sky in formations so tight that the sun's light had difficulty reaching the ground beneath them. At the same time, the ships flying around Tetha broke their formations, piloting towards the waves of invaders. In Tetha herself, the squadrons of aerial fighters scrambled, launching from their bases of operation to fly out and join the navy in combating their enemies head on.
While this was happening, lightposts around Tetha began to flicker to life. At the military checkpoints, Tethan fire teams took position with weapons and attacks trained on the light posts. When the first invaders came through them, the results were brutal, and expected. Invading soldiers fell by the scores as they came through with their proverbial guns blazing. But still more poured through after that, not giving Tetha's defenders so much as a moment to gather their wits about them. In just a couple of minutes of short, brutal fighting, a great many of Tetha's lightposts had been seized by the attacking armies of Dukemon, SaberLeomon, and Tyrant Kabuterimon. And through those lightposts, more and more invaders kept pouring through while in the distance the sounds of heated aerial combat boomed through the air.
The battle at Tetha had begun.

Feel free to run your own threads with your own NPC'ed opponents. Just keep in mind some basic guidelines - if you'r joining in from outside Tetha, you're going to be on the fringes of the island as things are beginning. Likewise, if you live in Tetha, you're going to be dealing with things inside the city itself, towards the center. This will change as things progress, however, so don't feel too constrained.
Remember, Tetha's forces are formidable, so portray them realistically. If you don't think you can NPC an opponent, put a line in the subject of your post asking for one, and a moderator should be able to help you. And don't forget to work together and coordinate threads if you can.
For those of you with characters not participating in this log (such as other DATS members) but you want to account for them, feel free to assume they're helping in disabling Ravemon's bases in the rest of the digital world.
