I got to go to the opera on Friday, guys. Totally awesome. The most bizarre part was who I went with- squirrelsunite, visibleducts, and aeonbluert. Not at all the group I would have expected. I started work this morning. Woke up at 7 am. That's right, it was awesome. There was something strangely comforting about being in a church and hearing all those church sounds. Is Katie going to turn churchy? Probably not, but it was kind of cool.

2. Gave Jason the most awesome Mystery Haircut (pictures to come within the week).
3. I am going home for the weekend and it's going to cost me 7 billion dollars.
4. We read a poem in Russian and even though it loses a bit in the translation, it's still pretty sweet. ( I Love You More Than Nature )

I'm going to force myself to leave, go home, and party it up.

But maybe I'll take a few things with me in the car tomorrow. It's a four hour trip, after all...
