I'm home! I listened to Puccini and talked to Nick on the ride back. He is such a great boy. (Nick the friend, not the ex.)
This week was really good. It was nice to go home for more than a day. My family is so amazing, sometimes I forget that. So you know, here is an update from home:

Sometimes I think I must have the best life in the world
I got to go to the opera on Friday, guys. Totally awesome. The most bizarre part was who I went with- squirrelsunite, visibleducts, and aeonbluert. Not at all the group I would have expected. I've got to mention that it was near disastrous trip, there was some huge global conspiracy (involving trains, inept ushers, and heels) trying to keep me from seeing Faust. I love my family. They came to visit this weekend and it was pretty awesome. Spent a lot of time with my amazing little sister. I seriously love that child. ( More on Friday, One Village, and Vomitrauma ) -

I got paid on Friday. On Saturday I spent $40 on cds (LCD Soundsystem, Pinback, Minus the Bear) and then went a few doors down and spent $60 on a freakishly amazing FranklinCovey planner (thanks, Jen Wynn). Yes, I am ridiculous. Yes, I love it ( Read more... )
