... I am in concert mode. I have given out all the instructions I am probably going to give to my students. I have had the secretary get the notes home about the concert ready. I am rehearsing students in mass today in the gym for their concert tomorrow night. I am prepared to stick to my guns about what is and is not proper concert attire. I am not going to put up with or listen to whining from teachers who "didn't get their 20 minutes of plan time" today because instead of regular music class schedules we did a large rehearsal in the gym. I had to ask the 3rd grade teachers to bring both classes together because otherwise I don't get to eat my lunch at all. I have no tolerance for whining or screwing around today. I will have less tomorrow. My patience is going to wear thin quickly. And I am praying to the god and goddesses that the Kindergarteners don't scream their songs at the audience today or tomorrow.

Welcome to my week. All this needed to be said. I am no nonsense today and tomorrow. This is whine free zone.
