I never really did get around to posting an entry regarding our family trip to Mt. Rainier. I guess I never will. Our nephew (and cousin) Shane brought along a digital camera that I borrowed frequently. In light of that, a descriptive narrative seems a little superfluous. There is a thought that came to me on each of our three family hikes.

While waiting for my turn on the family computer, I was laying on the floor watching an interesting TV show on africanized or killer bees. We see highly trained bee keepers approach a 100 lbs, 4 foot hive. They carefully bag the hive and remove it from a park. They place the hive into a large freezer to kill the bees.
