A quick summation
My LJ has certainly suffered here of late. One could make the case that making updates (with my poor grammatical abilities) would cause it to suffer more! Ha Ha! I'm back. Typing with one hand (two fingers really) and a sandwich in the other!
I am listening to Air America again (briefly.) I am sure I will be back to NPR again soon. There are too many Resmuglicans speaking on NPR right now and they just put my teeth on edge.
God be with Judge Roberts. May he be a just Chief Justice.
I spent Saturday pressing my current fixation to near completion. I am now in the process of filling my eighth 300-photo album. More than once I have nearly succumbed to the urge to scoop it all into a box. Walking away and getting a beer and a couple of oreos (a combination I don't recommend) has gotten me back to work. I am now into Spring 2004, which was my working vacation to Hawaii. I worked and the girls vacationed!
We went to Pomodoro Italian Restaurant in the Proctor district for dinner on Saturday. my_dog_fluffer had a plate of fries and raw carrots. I am not sure which is more odd: ordering this in an Italian restaurant or the fact that it was on the menu!
We went down to St. Martin's Abbey for Oblate Sunday. Celebrating Mass in a church (as opposed to our basement) was nice. jaynefury became an Oblate Novice. Our community of Benedictines at St. Pat's is growing!
Lastly Evening Prayer has been "sanctioned" if you will. I need to create a bulletin announcement of some kind. Note to self: proofread, proofread, and proofread.
