I had a rough day at work today, and decided that what I needed most was to just spend some quality time with my family. So, in spite of the fact that I easily had another two (at minimum) hours of work left to accomplish just to break even, I decided to wrap it up and leave the volume for tomorrow. I am soooo groggy right now. I had to take one of my vistaril pills last night at a quarter til midnight, because I was feeling like I was getting ready to have a serious anxiety attack; and the med is still in my system at 9:30 this morning, making me feel like a walking zombie ( Read more... )

I'm really struggling to get through the morning today. Last night, I took my meds for the first time in 10 days, and even though I slept alright (I usually feel sick the first night after having gone more than 5 days without meds in my system) I'm really feeling drugged and zonked out this morning. This latest depressive episode has really been kicking my ass. It has already lasted for over 2 weeks or so in duration (all the while sucking me deeper and deeper into its maw), and it would not surprise me to see it take as long for me to climb back out of it.
