The bad news: Shiro started peeing blood yesterday. We rushed her to the vet. She's on pain meds, a strict wet food diet, and antibiotics while we wait for test results. Sadly, the results are already negative for the easy to treat infections of a bladder or kidney. She needs a $400 ultrasound to figure out what's wrong. That's on top of yesterday' ( Read more... )

I was strangely dizzy/light-headed this morning after breakfast.  From what I've read, it was "normal" and pregnancy related as I enter week 12 (I was well hydrated and just had a filling meal, so it obviously wasn't blood sugar).

 Nothing like watching anime to realize how wide the cultural gap really is!  Although this can be true of most foreign films, as well.

It's really fun having my month of vacation and being able to marathon series.  It's my favorite way to experience anime, all in one or two crazy sittings.
