I have spent the last 3 days in and out of a Bristol hotel attending my first LGBT Unison conference. It has been interesting, but not that enjoyable. I think this is for a number of reasons. and another thing, I'm currently reading a lot of sci-fi. Not the popular choices, although I am partial to a bit of Horus Heresy, but the independents. Currently reading Grimspace by Ann Aguirre and am a little upset that - as per a lot of sci-fi or literature as a whole - the woman who works in the engine room is gay ( Read more... )
