"You may assume that." His eyebrows quirk up slightly as he slides the ring back onto his finger, his other hand pulling out a coin and doing the same exact thing.
It's actually pretty impressive, the smoothness of it, when you consider he's missing a few digits.
Borden just looks at him. He might not have come to terms with his injury, but he is a man of secrets, and not inclined to give them up easily, quickly, or lightly.
He smiles, pulls another coin out of the other side, and seems to pull one out of the boy's nose before rolling them both along his knuckles simultaneously.
And Armand has been completely intrigued by this interesting pile of newcomers. He's actually been hanging out at the Mansion to see who else shows up. "Oh hello there, monsieur." He bows to Borden, quite formally. It's his way, and there is nothing of mockery in it.
