Like all of his kind, magicians, sorcerers, when Borden smiles it means something totally different. These days, anyway.

Even dressed up he's lower-class, workhouse escapee, turn of the 19th century rags and an accent from the bowels of London. Which could be forgiven or at least forgotten if you didn't look at the last two fingers of his left hand. Which you couldn't. They're not there. Lost to a feud that's long since forsaken all meaning or purpose, at least to him. He's got nothing left to take from him, so what does he care?

His thumbs are curled into his pockets, as though he wants to hide his hands but is refusing to against his first instinct, for whatever reason. Every once in a while one hand comes out to roll a gold wedding band over his knuckles.

[OOC: Borden is being played post-book and post-movie for the purposes of RP lines 1 and 2. He's from Christopher Priest's book The Prestige and Christopher Nolan's movie version of the same name. All spoilers will be behind the cut! And whoa, there's some doozies of spoilers, so you've been warned...

Also by way of warning? Why yes. He is bats**t crazy. Just so you know.]
